Comforter, Cotton Futon, Domestic Cotton, Made in Japan, Crafted by Futon Shop, Original

#ShowaRetro

This is a cotton futon tailored at a traditional futon shop. The fabric has a Showa Retro design. It feels somewhat like kimono fabric.

My daughter used it. Even after she moved out, she would periodically air out the futon, sun-dry it, and store it in the closet.
I am now listing it after airing it out in the sun.

When I removed the cover, there was a stain on the edge of the futon. When I pulled the fabric to try and remove the stain, the fabric tore.
Photos are provided to show the fabric before and after it tore, so please check them.

The cover is used and has no noticeable tears. It has been washed repeatedly, so please only purchase if you don't mind this.

[Size]
Approximately 128 x 165 cm, 1 piece
*Please allow for slight variations.

Originally, the cover had an opening in the center top so the futon pattern would be visible, with strings around the opening to tie and secure it (so the pattern would show). However, I have sewn on lace from curtain fabric to prevent the futon from coming out. Velcro has been attached to the opening.

This is a cotton futon made in the Showa era. Due to the weight of the futons stacked on top, it does not have the same fluffiness as when new.
This is a used item that has been stored for a long time. A cover is also included.
There may be some overlooked details.
We ask that those who can utilize it, such as for temporary use during a child's growth spurt, please purchase it.

Please allow some time for shipping. We plan to ship on Saturdays and Sundays. Please be sure to comment before purchasing.
