~Introduction~

Nippon Tupperware Co., Ltd. has decided to introduce an alkaline ion water purifier for the following three reasons:

(1) To deliver an even more advanced water purifier
Tupperware recognized the future growth potential of the environmental market and, in response to customer demand for delicious and healthy water every day, jointly developed and launched Tupperware's water purifier two years ago in 1998 with Sun-Mar Inc. of Florida, USA.

The needs of the water-related market have been changing rapidly in recent years. While there are still many people seeking water purifiers, there is a growing demand for added value, such as the function to convert water into alkaline ion water, not just to purify it.

In response to this demand, Tupperware has jointly developed an even more advanced water purifier, the Alkaline Ion Water Purifier, with Sun-Mar Inc.

(2) To deliver a healthier everyday life
The biggest point of the alkaline ion water purifier is that it is a medical device approved under the Pharmaceutical Affairs Law.

The alkaline ion water generated by this purifier is effective for chronic diarrhea, indigestion, abnormal intestinal fermentation, excessive stomach acid, and soft stools, while the acidic water can be used as a skin rinse (toner). These effects and benefits can be used as sales points.

Tupperware has proposed a healthy and prosperous life through the sale of its main products, plastic airtight containers. To deliver an even healthier everyday life, we are introducing the alkaline ion water purifier as the third installment of our environmental-related products.

(3) A product suitable for demonstrations
The Alkaline Ion Water Purifier not only has the aforementioned effects and benefits, but its alkaline ion water's excellent cleaning and extraction power, as well as the astringent and firming power of acidic water, can be widely used for cooking water.
