This is Sanwa's popular alkaline ionized water purifier, Kansui RW-5.

It was purchased for my elderly parents, but they hardly used it. It was removed, wrapped in plastic wrap, and stored for a long time.
Perhaps due to wrinkles in the plastic wrap, some patterns have formed on the surface.

I reinstalled it for the first time in a while for this listing.
As shown in the image, the red lamp indicating cartridge replacement is on.
I believe the total usage time is less than 10 hours. It seems to be designed to turn on the red lamp after a certain period has passed since the initial installation.

As a test, I ran acidic water for about an hour to sterilize the inside, then drank the alkaline ionized water. I drank about 3 cups, and the taste was delicious, with no ill effects afterward.
Just to be sure, I will continue to drink it for a while.
After confirming its safety, I will include the filter as is. If you are concerned, please consider purchasing a new one.
Although it is a used item and shows some signs of use, it is still fully functional.
