The 72 Pillars of Solomon's Devils are 72 spiritual beings that appear in the medieval grimoire The Lesser Key of Solomon. They are said to have been summoned and controlled by King Solomon of ancient Israel. They are also called Princes of Hell or Spirits and are classified as Dukes, Marquises, Kings, Knights, etc., according to their rank and title. Each possesses unique abilities and knowledge, and is said to grant summoners various benefits such as wealth, wisdom, love, tactics, prophecy, and the revelation of hidden information. Summoning requires complex rituals and magic circles, and it was believed that the summoned Devils would serve the sorcerer based on a contract.
It is said that the ranking is not based on numbers such as strength or title, but on the order in which they were sealed by King Solomon.
