New Care Mittens, 2-Piece Mesh Gloves, Both Hands, Prevents Scratching, Unisex
10.00 $
Description
These are介護ミトン (caregiving mittens) designed to prevent patients from unconsciously removing IV lines, scratching, or thrashing due to conditions like dementia or after surgery.
These gloves are also used in various caregiving situations, such as for individuals with atopic dermatitis who scratch themselves in their sleep.
Set includes 2 mittens for both hands.
They are designed to be large, allowing fingers to move inside the mitten. The wrist area features adjustable Velcro straps for a customized fit.
Made with breathable mesh material, they also come with a 170cm restraint band to limit the movement of agitated patients and prevent self-harm.
The palm side has a moderately firm acrylic board insert.
The structure prevents the wearer from gripping objects, eliminating concerns about them pulling out IV lines or tubes.
(These items are part of excess inventory that a relative involved in business mistakenly ordered in large quantities, and I received some of them.)
