This is a kiss-lock coin purse made from Bashofu (banana fiber cloth) from Kijoka, Ogimi Village, Okinawa Prefecture. It is brand new and unused. The color is a beautiful Ryukyu indigo. There is a hole for attaching a charm.
This is a precious craft made from hand-picked Bashofu threads. It is durable and develops a unique character with use.
I purchased it at the Kijoka Bashofu Hall but am listing it as I have no opportunity to use it.
