Pet Memorial Nijinotamoto

Nijinotamoto is inspired by the Rainbow Bridge, a poem depicting a place where departed pets are freed from suffering and sadness, joyfully living with other animals while awaiting their owners at the foot of the Rainbow Bridge.

When placed with a pet's memorial photo, it evokes a sense of peace, as if you will one day cross the Rainbow Bridge together to heaven, just like in the poem.

The five colored rainbow glass marbles arranged in an arch appear to be able to escape the wooden frame, but they cannot.

Naturally, there are no seams in the wooden frame.

Each wooden frame is crafted from solid cypress wood, finished one by one using a scroll saw and sandpaper.

The finish is achieved solely through sanding, with no paint applied. Please enjoy the gentle touch and subtle fragrance of natural wood.

While cypress may remind some of pollen allergies, cypress wood has long been used as a high-quality building material for homes, and there is no concern that it will worsen pollen allergies.

As this is a handmade item, there may be slight individual differences and minor scratches. Please consider purchasing only if you understand this.

*The poem Rainbow Bridge tells the story of beloved pets who, after death, wait at the foot of a bridge called the Rainbow Bridge before heaven for a reunion with their owners, and then eventually cross the Rainbow Bridge together to heaven. It has spread worldwide among people who wish to alleviate the grief of pet loss, even just a little.
