Silk is gentle on the skin and also beneficial for hair.
100% Silk, Made in Japan
Pattern: A light pink with an orange hue, featuring woven patterns of pine needles and plum blossoms, with toys dyed onto the fabric.
The fabric was washed before tailoring, and I did not notice any color bleeding.
Sewing thread: Nylon

I myself have been using pillowcases I made from kimono fabric remnants for over 10 years.
I cannot scientifically prove how my hair has changed, but I have made more for my family and guests and continue to use them with satisfaction.
I also bring a simple version (with ties) when I travel.
