This is a samue (workwear) completely remade from a women's Oshima Tsumugi kimono.

This item features a glossy brown color with a simple pattern.
Depending on the pattern and color, it can also be worn by men if the size is suitable.
It feels good against the skin and can be layered over your existing tops without clinging, offering a smooth and comfortable fit.

It will be delivered with the registered trademark shown in the 13th image.
*This is a precious, hand-woven pure silk item.

My samue consists of the top garment only.

Please pair it with your favorite jeans or cotton pants.

The size is F (Free size).
It is adjustable with the tie strings.
Please refer to the measurements below for each part.
All measurements are taken with the garment laid flat.

Sleeve length: Approximately 56.5cm (from collar to cuff)
Yuki length: Approximately 67.5cm (from center back to cuff)
Underarm to hem: Approximately 47cm

Slits on both sides.
Pocket on the right side.
Four tie strings (shown in the 10th image).

Please allow for slight variations in size.

It can be easily worn by tying the four strings.
The areas that experience stress are machine-sewn, while delicate areas are carefully hand-sewn.

This is a single-layer Oshima Tsumugi garment.
It does not have lining such as shoulder pads.

As this item was made from a previously worn kimono, there may be some remaining stitch marks from its former life.

My mother lovingly crafts each piece to allow you to casually wear traditional Japanese kimonos as everyday wear or work attire.

Even if the kimono was made from new bolt fabric, it is washed by me before being made into samue.
For care, as there are hand-sewn parts, hand washing with a commercial delicate fabric detergent is recommended.
