It absorbs moisture when the surrounding humidity is high and releases it when the humidity is low.
1. Moisture Absorption/Release Properties
Approximately 7 times the moisture absorption of cotton, and approximately 2 times the moisture absorption of silica gel (Type B).
2. Water Absorption
With a large surface area, it absorbs 80 times its own weight in water and does not easily release moisture even when pressure is applied.
3. Deodorizing Performance (11 years)
Particularly high deodorizing effect against ammonia, and can be repeatedly used by sun-drying.
4. Durability and Heat Resistance
Resistant to degradation and deterioration of water and moisture absorption performance due to organic solvents (alcohol, etc.) and heat.
5. Flame Retardancy
