Description

This vest was remade from a fukuro obi (a type of obi sash) for a furisode kimono.

The obi was taken apart, washed in a neutral, fashionable detergent, and then sewn.

The back of the obi has multi-colored embroidery threads running through it, so it was made with a full lining. This makes the vest a bit heavier than usual.

Home cleaning after remaking into clothing is not possible. Due to the large amount of multi-colored embroidery threads, it will shrink. If washing is absolutely necessary, we recommend dry cleaning at a professional establishment.
