Black powder from the deterioration of the bed's underside has also gotten on the cover.

The bed is a single, with legs. The mattress should be fine, but the black non-woven fabric-like material that covered the underside has mostly peeled off and turned into powder, so if you don't remove it all, the powder may fall off.
