ITSUKI Pillowcase Approx. 40cm x 63cm Silk

Selling because it didn't match my interior as much as I expected. Used for about a week and home-cleaned.

This is an ITSUKI brand pillowcase, approximately 40cm x 63cm, featuring a simple design.

- Brand: ITSUKI
- Product Name: Pillowcase
- Size: Approx. 40cm x 63cm
- Color: Beige
This pillowcase luxuriously uses silk cotton fabric on the side that touches your hair and face.
The silk cotton fabric pillowcase is smooth, reducing friction and static electricity with your hair and face, and is excellent for protecting against dryness and irritation.
The designer repeatedly improved the sample, and to prevent your head from slipping and straining your neck during sleep, they deliberately chose silk cotton fabric instead of 100% silk for the top surface. Additionally, 100% cotton fabric is used on the back for enhanced stability.
The item name KITSUMU, written in kanji, means lucky dream.
Inspired by the Japanese tradition of sleeping with a charm depicting auspicious imagery under your pillow, the patchwork design features the Uchide no Kozuchi (magic mallet) and Mount Fuji.
The Uchide no Kozuchi is a legendary treasure said to produce various things when shaken. The mallet (hammer-like object) held by Daikokuten is precisely the Uchide no Kozuchi.
Mount Fuji is, of course, a symbol of good fortune. It is said to be a very lucky dream if it appears in one's dreams.
Both colors are finished in soft tones to easily coordinate with basic bedding.
The package illustration and tag lettering were created by illustrator Peko Asano.
This is a highly recommended item for those who find that their hair care doesn't last until the next morning after showering, or for those who feel hesitant about wearing a nightcap while sleeping.
It's an item that men can also use without hesitation, making it a great gift for friends as a wedding or housewarming present, perhaps as a pair. It also makes a thoughtful gift for someone who is recuperating.
