This is a Rin-kesa (Buddhist stole) made by Satsumaya Hoiten, a shop established in 1909 in Kyoto, which has served the head temples.
This is a very rare Monto Shikisho prepared for the 50th Anniversary Memorial Service for the Atomic Bombing held by the Jodo Shinshu Hongwanji-ha (Nishi Hongwanji) in 1994.
This is a limited edition item created for the commemorative memorial service of the 50th anniversary of the atomic bombing, and is a piece of monumental value that is difficult to obtain today.
[Condition]
It has been carefully stored and is in very clean condition with no noticeable stains or fraying. Please forgive any oversights.
Also, as it was stored in a drawer with incense sticks, there is a scent of incense. Please be aware of this in advance.
