Description

This is obsidian from Oketo, Hokkaido.
It's rare to find pieces over 3 kilograms.

Compared to obsidian from other regions,
this has high transparency, a beautiful luster,
and is uniform, making it exceptionally lovely.
Its slightly unusual shape would also make it visually appealing as a substrate for reptiles and other creatures.

How about using it for making stone tools,
for school projects, or as a gift?
It can be easily broken using a household hammer or mallet.

Thank you for looking.
