This is a clock with a folding screen design, featuring a clock face and a maki-e (lacquer art) panel. The gold leaf and white Mt. Fuji design create a luxurious feel. I received this as a wedding gift and opened it for the first time today. It is in working condition. I checked Rakuten and Amazon, and similar items sell for ￥11,000 to ￥12,000.
The clock is made by SEIKO.
New, unused.
Requires one AA battery.
