Stag beetle extractor stick with jaw hook
10.00 $
Description
This is a handmade stag beetle extractor.
It comes with a hook to catch the stag beetle's mandibles.
Using the hook makes it harder for them to escape.
The hook is detachable.
The total length is 36 cm.
This summer, I caught a 59.2 mm Dorcus hopei binodulosus and many other stag beetles with this handmade extractor.
While I think it's good to have a light on an extractor, a small light might not be very visible. Therefore, I think you'll see better with a headlamp or a handheld flashlight.
