Wesco was founded in Germany in 1867 by Martin Westermann.
In Germany, a country with a thriving industrial sector, they produce high-quality metal products such as ash bins and bread boxes.
In 2000, Egbert Neuhause conceived of a rocket-shaped dustbin after visiting the Space Rocket Center in Florida, USA.
Its unique design became popular and it began to be used in many public spaces such as cafes, movie theaters, department stores, showrooms, and hotels.
In 2017, the company celebrated its 150th anniversary.
