Banko ware is a traditional craft from Yokkaichi City, Mie Prefecture, known for its excellent heat resistance.
3-in-1 functionality: Ferment in the container, bake directly in the oven, and use as a storage container after baking. The far-infrared effect of the heat-resistant container bakes bread that is crispy on the outside and moist and chewy on the inside. The shape is designed to resemble a loaf of bread, and the lid knob is shaped like a roll. The porous clay regulates moisture, helping to keep bread fresh as a storage container. I have not used it for making bread, only for storing loaves, but I am selling it because it takes up too much space. Please check the images for the condition before considering. There are no noticeable scratches, scuffs, or chips, but please understand that this is a used item.
