Traditional Craft
Bamboo Dessert Forks and Knives
7 sets of 2 pieces each (14 pieces total)
? These are traditional bamboo craft items from Kurume City, Fukuoka Prefecture, the birthplace of Seiko Matsuda and The Checkers.
? The handles feature a distinctive wavy curve (wave pattern) crafted by artisans, designed for a comfortable grip that is easy to hold and non-slip. Made of bamboo, they have a natural, warm texture.
? Material Characteristics: Being made of natural bamboo, they are extremely lightweight and have a soft feel in the mouth. Unlike metal, they also have the advantage of being less likely to scratch tableware.
? Uses: Primarily used for Japanese sweets such as yokan and nerikiri, but they can also be widely used as picks for fruits and Western-style sweets.
? Not sold individually.
? For those who understand that this is a home-stored item, please consider purchasing.
