This brush was reborn for cosmetic use from the kebō (hair brush) traditionally used in traditional crafts for gold powder. It can be used for blush and highlighter. The difference in bristle length allows for easy adjustment of color intensity, providing a subtle application. It is also compatible with glitter and cream cosmetics, allowing for natural application of glitter and vivid colors.
The kebō was used as a tool for precisely brushing away excess gold leaf with the tips of the bristles when applying delicate gold decoration in Maki-e (Japanese lacquerware decoration), and also for fixing and making the foil shine. The reborn Kebō Family Series for cosmetic use features individual bristles that spread out softly, gently touching the skin with a fluffy feel. We have devised ways to utilize the different bristle tips according to the type of cosmetic. This is a new sensation cosmetic brush series.
