Plum Wine Fruit Liqueur Jumbo PET Bottle 12L Part 1

This is a jumbo-sized PET container that a certain shochu maker sold with white liquor for making umeshu (plum wine). I purchased it last year and used it for about half a year to make umeshu.

The capacity is 12.5L when filled to the brim. The opening is 4.7cm in diameter, and even the largest size plums (4L, 4.5-4.9cm in diameter), which are the largest commonly available, will barely fit.

The manufacturer's recommended amount for making umeshu in this container is 5.4L of white liquor, 3kg of plums, and 1.5kg of rock sugar (adjust to your preference). Compared to glass bottles, it is overwhelmingly lighter (245g), so when making the same amount, it was convenient and easy to handle.

This will be the maximum size that can be shipped via non-standard mail (total of 3 sides within 90cm), so we will not use a cardboard box. It will be simply packed with bubble wrap or put in a plastic bag. Thank you for your understanding.
