Description

Thank you for looking.
I'm very sorry, but please keep the price as is for now.

This is a 2-piece connected item, 68cm vertically.
This is a Sumba ikat, hand-spun and hand-woven with natural dyes, representing a great deal of time and effort.
The people there have strong faith, and due to religious reasons, they only dye on auspicious days.
Animism and Dutch colonial influences are woven into this piece.
Regarding the weft spinning, some may ask if it is hand-spun, and this one is indeed hand-spun.
