Indonesia, antique fabric, ikat fabric

I believe this is a traditional hand-woven ikat made in Indonesia.
(I purchased it about 30 years ago, so I don't remember the details. I also don't have the product description.)

The fabric is covered with patterns (people, horses, chickens, etc.) characteristic of Sumba Island ikat.
Ikat is a traditional pre-dyed plain woven fabric made in Indonesia and other regions.

Purchased around 1995 at an Asian fair-like event at Ikebukuro Tobu Department Store (40,000-50,000 yen).
It was a product from a folk craft store in Matsumoto City that handled Asian雑貨 and furniture.
I received a business card from the store owner at the time of purchase and visited the store in Matsumoto once, but it seems to be closed now.
I think it was near Marumo Ryokan, but my memory might be mistaken.

It has been washed about 10 times.
It used to be more vibrant, but the color has faded.
There is a possibility of color transfer, so we recommend washing it alone for a short time.
I washed it for this listing.
The material is unknown, but I believe it is cotton fabric.
The fringe has not been combed, so it is a bit messy.

For a while after purchasing, I used it as interior decoration, but then it was stored for a long time in a clothing case.
There are no major scratches or stains, but there are small pills and loose threads.
Please consider this if you understand that it is an old fabric from about 30 years ago.
