Description
This is a tapestry made from repurposed fabric using the tsutsugaki dyeing technique. It features four tsutsugaki panels sewn together by hand. The top and bottom edges are finished with machine stitching. The top edge has a casing for a rod.
Size: 136cm x 128cm.
The fabric is a sturdy cotton. There are two small holes; one has been repaired (see image 7). Please note that there are some discolorations, particularly on the family crest areas.
