A set of 2 luxurious, foil-decorated Japanese papers.
It's a shame the beauty cannot be fully conveyed in the images, but you can enjoy the dazzling sparkle.
The foil-decorated paper, which has various techniques applied to it, can be admired as is by framing it without any further work, or it can be used as material for Japanese-style art panels and more.
※ As you can see in the images, there are wrinkles. It is thought that the metal shrunk due to heat, but this should not be noticeable when gluing or applying it. Please consider this depending on your intended use.
※ As shown in the 6th image, there is a peeling at one of the joining points.

[Size]
36cm x approx. 26.5cm

※ Hikihaku (引箔) is a Japanese paper used in Nishijin weaving (mainly for high-end obi sashes). Pure silver or gold leaf is used, and there are various techniques such as lacquering, dyeing, baking, and crumpling. There are many types, and many of the techniques are company secrets, with various names for the techniques.

※ This item has been stored at home. As it is old Japanese paper, please refrain from purchasing if you are concerned after viewing the images.

Would be great for those who love paper items. Can be used for art panels, handmade objects, etc.
