Description
This is a French Army M64 Field Parka. The design is inspired by the American Army's masterpiece M-51 Fishtail Parka (commonly known as the Mods Coat).
This listing includes the full set, with a liner made of soft wool material that can be worn on its own like a cardigan.
The shell is made of high-density woven cotton sateen. Among the many field coats, this one has a particularly stylish impression.
The hood is integrated with the shell, and the neckline is high.
The front opens and closes with a zipper and buttons under a storm flap, and the shoulders are raglan for a comfortable fit.
Engraved with ARMEE FRANCAISE.
Purchased as deadstock from a vintage clothing store and worn about 10 times.
The front of the liner has some brown discoloration from the time of purchase. There is some pilling, and the back of the neck has some scuffing and pilling, but the overall condition is good with a sheen to the fabric.
