[Royal Copenhagen] Year Plate 1986 Winter Holiday

Royal Copenhagen's year plates have been produced for over 100 years, starting with the first edition in 1908 and surviving through World War I and World War II.
Loved by people around the world, they depict beautiful and familiar motifs, becoming plates that remain in memory along with the year they were made.
Each plate is hand-painted, so there are subtle differences.
This one, featuring a Saint Bernard, is a rare item. It's completely different from the dog on the plate I acquired last time.
This item is the Royal Copenhagen Year Plate Winter Holiday, sold in 1986 (Showa 61 in Japan).

Winter Holiday
This scene is a common sight in winter. An older sister slides down a snowy hill on a wooden sled pulled by an obedient Saint Bernard dog, while her younger brother chases after her. Winters in Denmark are long, and people often spend time indoors. However, during the winter holidays, children enjoy themselves by playing in the snow, wearing warm sweaters and hats like this.
Designed by artist Sven Vestergaard.

This item is sold on the official website as a back number for 12,100 yen, but it is currently out of stock on the official website, making it a very rare piece.
Once the production for the year is complete, the mold for Royal Copenhagen year plates is destroyed, and the same plate will never be made again. Therefore, their rarity and value increase each year.

[Product Condition]
This is a first-quality item with the Royal Copenhagen wave mark intact.
The color intensity varies for each Royal Copenhagen plate, but this one has relatively strong colors.
The box is not included.

Please purchase with the understanding that this is an antique item.
