This salt is made by steeping Australian sun-dried sea salt in deep ocean water from Okinawa. It is produced using a room-temperature process without heat, resulting in a mild flavor without bitterness.
Contains coral calcium.

This coarse salt, produced at room temperature, is mixed with calcium collected from the sea off the coast to enhance its delcium content. It is perfect for pickling, grilled fish, and of course, everyday cooking.

We collect coral calcium without causing environmental damage. Okinawa's deep ocean water is formed by currents from the North Pacific that reach depths of over 200 meters, where sunlight cannot penetrate. Over 2000 years, this water travels to the North Pacific without ever touching the atmosphere, and a portion of it rises as an upwelling current, appearing in Okinawa.
