The tortoise shell pattern is very cute, with what looks like bamboo leaves and butterflies inside the red shell pattern. The tsumugi silk has a moderate sheen and a high-quality feel. It is not sheer. Since the base color is white, you might notice some slight discoloration that looks like sun-fading in places upon close inspection, but I believe it won't be noticeable when worn.
