Purchased at Depot 39 in Jiyugaoka.
I recall it costing around 120,000 yen at the time.
It has a unique design not often found in Japan, is solidly and sturdily made, and I fell in love with the beautiful, hard, old wood at first sight.
Antiques are a once-in-a-lifetime encounter, so despite the price, I took the plunge and brought it home, cherishing it.
Of course, it can actually be used as a ladder or stepladder.
In my home, I have many lampshades, so I used it to switch them out depending on my mood or to change light bulbs.
Its height also makes it useful in spaces with high ceilings.
You can create attractive displays by placing or hanging your favorite antiques, Western books, or greenery.
Even when not in use, its beautiful presence allows it to be displayed rather than stored away.
It would also be wonderful for store displays.

It's a rare item that's hard to find.
I'm very fond of it, so honestly, I'm hesitant, but due to a significant decluttering effort, I've re-evaluated my belongings and decided to sell it.
I hope to pass it on to the next owner who will cherish it.

I believe unfinished wood is rare for this type of item. It's simple and very lovely.
