The designer of Georg Jensen's signature cutlery, Acorn, is Danish painter and designer Johan Rohde.
Georg Jensen's beautiful silver products are called antiques of the future.
This carving set is from the popular Acorn series, designed by Johan Rohde in 1915. It was purchased at a department store in Nihonbashi in 1993 for a daughter's gathering but was left unused.
The hallmarks include the Georg Jensen oval logo and the STERLING DENMARK logo, indicating pure silver.
This set can be used for serving large cuts of meat, meatloaf, and more at the table.
Despite its impressive size, its slender form prevents it from appearing ostentatious on the table.
I am reluctant to part with it because it is beautiful even when not in use, but I would love for someone who will use it to have it.
