This is a trench-style stand-collar coat, a masterpiece from the Hedi Slimane era at DIOR HOMME.
This is a one-of-a-kind item that I have personally customized at considerable cost and effort.

[Special Features]
1. Professional Overdyeing
To resolve fading due to age, I commissioned a professional dyeing service to re-dye the coat in a deep, dark color.
What's particularly noteworthy is the contrast created by the fabric being dyed deeply while the stitching (thread) remained undyed.
This highlights the complex, three-dimensional cutting and details characteristic of the Hedi era, giving it a more sophisticated and avant-garde feel than the original.

2. Laborious Button Removal Process
To prevent damage or discoloration to the buttons during dyeing, all buttons were individually removed by hand before dyeing, and then professionally reattached after the dyeing was complete.
This is an extremely costly and time-consuming process, but it allowed us to finish the coat with the buttons retaining their original texture and maintaining a luxurious feel.

3. Sleeve Length Adjustment for Collection-Inspired Look
The original sleeve length was set to be long, but I adjusted it to 57cm so that it can be worn with a stylish balance, with the wrists slightly exposed, similar to the runway looks from that collection.

I am 170cm tall and weigh 60kg, and it fits me perfectly with a clean, streamlined silhouette.
With my height and weight, the sleeve length allows the wrist bone to peek out, creating a beautiful balance for styling that shows off watches or innerwear.
