2 Placemats (Purchased in Florence)

I believe I purchased this about 30 years ago at a tableware shop in Florence.
I don't recall ever using it because I felt it was too precious.

At the time, I bought it without realizing how surprisingly expensive it was. However, upon closer inspection for this listing, it appears to be entirely hand-stitched.
The patchwork also seems to be finely overcast.

Because I kept it carefully stored away, there are small brown stains... (T-T)

I washed it for this listing, and while they seem to have faded slightly, it will be handed over as is.

On photos 4 and 7, there are spots on the border (more on the fruit side) that I couldn't capture in the photos.

Despite its condition, I would be grateful if someone who likes it would purchase it. m(_ _)m
For reference, I believe they cost at least 5,000 yen each back then.
