--------------------------------------------------
Includes Japanese paper: 1 fan-shaped (19.0cm x 38.0cm), 1 each of colored strip-shaped (36.0cm & 37.0cm x 7.0cm), and 9 postcards (15.0cm x 10.0cm). The wrapping paper (61.0cm x 52.0cm) is also Japanese paper. (All measurements are approximate and self-taken.)
※ Although this was a museum admission commemorative item, the postcard only has a 3-digit zip code field, and the tape on the back shows discoloration. This indicates it is quite old.
The postal code system started with 3 or 5 digits on July 1, 1968.
It changed to a 7-digit system on February 2, 1998. Since the museum opened in 1985, this item is estimated to be from 40 years ago at the earliest, or 27 years ago at the latest.
Nowadays, you wouldn't receive such a set of Japanese paper items just by entering the museum.
※ I looked it up. Currently, admission is ¥500 + ¥500 for a handmade paper experience, which includes 2 colored papers and 8 postcards. (Considering transportation costs and time...)
* To keep the selling price down due to high shipping costs (including fees and size), we will fold the outer packaging slightly smaller, which may create creases. We appreciate your understanding.
About the Kochi Paper Museum (いの町紙の博物館)
