Panasonic Compatible VL-VH573 Doorbell Replacement Lens DIY VH556

This is a compatible lens that was replaced when the lens of my Panasonic VL-VH573 doorphone became invisible.
I am stocking new ones in case of breakage.
I have also received confirmation from a buyer of a VL-VH556 that it was installable. I cannot confirm this myself, so please purchase at your own discretion if you wish.

1/4 M12 mount 1.05mm focal length fisheye lens.

I replaced the genuine lens, and the angle of view widened, resulting in a clearer image.
I believe the IR cut filter (infrared cut filter) is effective: this filter transmits visible light and blocks infrared rays. It is used to prevent unnecessary infrared light from entering the digital camera's image sensor, allowing for color images with hues close to those seen by the human eye.

There is information on YouTube and other websites about replacing the VL-V571, so please refer to it.

My process:
- Remove the screws of the doorphone.
- Remove the lens connector screws (there were three).
- Remove the old lens using pliers or similar tools (be careful as it may be stuck or fragile). Use the existing base.
  The base cannot be used as the screw positions are different. Please use at your own discretion.
- Install the new lens (just screw it in).
- Adjust the focus. This is the most difficult and time-consuming part. I connected wiring to the indoor unit (sub-unit #2) behind the monitor (purchased separately, about 2m long doorphone wiring) and adjusted the focus indoors.

The entire process took about 1 hour.

Please purchase only if you are able to handle this DIY. Since the lens periodically becomes invisible, it's good to know a cost-effective replacement method.
