Description
This is a brand new item purchased during my first shrine visit of the year.
These are to be placed on the inside and outside of the entrance door to ward off evil.
The entrance is considered a very important place in feng shui, so how about getting them for the new year?

[Jindaiji Temple]
Jindaiji Temple was founded in 733 (Tenpyo 5) as a Hossō sect temple enshrining the water deity Jinsha Daio. Since the parents of the temple's founder, Mankō Shōnin, were brought together by the blessings of the water deity, the temple has long been a center for matchmaking prayers.
It is also famous as one of Tokyo's oldest temples, second only to Senso-ji Temple in Asakusa. It houses the National Treasure Shaka Nyorai Statue, a Hakuho period (late Asuka period) national treasure, which is the only one in Tokyo and the oldest in Eastern Japan. It also possesses numerous temple treasures and cultural assets, such as the Bonsho (temple bell), which is a designated Important Cultural Property.

◆ Blessings
Ganzan Daishi is also known as the Evil Warding Master and is said to have the power to ward off epidemics, repel evil spirits, and drive away enemies. Furthermore, due to the legend that the parents of the temple's founder, Mankō Shōnin, were brought together by the protection of Jinsha Daio (the water deity), it is said to grant good fortune in relationships.
