This is a pouf cover remade from a Boucherouite rug from the Boujad region of Morocco.
Boucherouite is a traditional weaving technique that combines wool, cotton, fabric scraps, and other materials.
Because they are woven with free expression, they are highly valued as one-of-a-kind rugs.

Vibrant colors such as pink, turquoise, blue, green, beige, and black will add an elegant accent to your space.
The long shag creates a rich depth and shows various expressions depending on the angle of the light.

While poufs are also produced in Morocco, we have selected this Dutch-made one, prioritizing sewing precision and the quality of the base rug.
Although Dutch-made items are more expensive, they are well-made and do not have the usability issues often found in Moroccan-made poufs, such as narrow zipper openings or fabric getting caught easily.
The back is also made of high-quality velour fabric with a smooth texture.

This is for the cover only.
In Morocco, old clothes, towels, and linens are often reused as filling.
By using commercially available polyester batting, urethane chips, or foam materials, you can achieve the desired firmness, from soft cushioning to firm support.
It functions elegantly not only as a floor cushion but also as an ottoman or a low table, adding depth and sophistication to your interior.
