The Zebra fabric was designed by Otti Berger, a weaving master and designer from the Bauhaus school. Aino Aalto discovered it during her travels in Europe, and by the 1930s, this fabric was incorporated into Artek products and stores. The 400 Armchair Tank upholstered with Zebra fabric remains an iconic Artek piece even today. Zebra combines a striking appearance with a soft and comfortable feel.
