Korea Souvenir Jackets, ordered by American soldiers stationed in Japan during the Korean War (1950-1953) or purchased locally, are rarer than standard Japan-map designs and are popular among collectors.
This is a vintage velvet Sukajan (Souvenir Jacket).
The deep crimson velvet (velour) fabric features dynamic, symmetrical eagle embroidery on the chest.
Side B features two powerful dragon heads intricately embroidered alongside Korea lettering.
With its vibrant blue and gold (yellow) accents, it could be considered a double-sided A-face design.

This piece possesses a unique aura, with the vintage atmosphere of the era, the three-dimensional embroidery, and the contrasting ribbing, all of which are absent in modern reproductions.
