Giant Knotweed Leaves - 10 pieces - Niseko, Hokkaido

These are natural Japanese knotweed leaves, grown wild on my property in Niseko, Hokkaido.
They will be picked after purchase and shipped the same day.

★Shipping will be suspended from May 24th to 27th.

The vibrant green, large leaves can be used as decorative wrappers (kaishiki) or garnishes (ashirai) to brighten up your table.
Use them to serve sushi or sweets for holiday lunches or parties, or arrange small dishes of snacks to accompany your evening drinks.

??Mixed sizes (large, medium, small)
We can accommodate requests for changes in size and quantity as much as possible. Please contact us via message.

??If there is room in the packaging, we will include a bonus item for kaishiki. This may include opened mountain vegetable leaves or leaves from maple or birch trees.

??To minimize damage, the leaves will be packed unwashed. Please wash them thoroughly before use. You can also wash them by spraying with a foam spray and gently rubbing with your palm. If you do this, please rinse thoroughly.

??Young, small leaves can be dried to make wild herb tea. Some people boil them to remove bitterness, chop them, and add them to mixed rice or soup.
If you intend to use them as food, we will prepare softer leaves for you, so please be sure to contact us.

??3 large, 3 medium, 4 small leaves
??Nekoposu (room temperature shipping)
