Description
This is a rusted metal thimble found in a box of French buttons at a flea market's French Button Fill-a-Bag stall.
When I asked the shopkeeper if the thimble was French, they said, If it was in the box, it's probably French. However, I cannot determine this myself.
The diameter at its widest point is about 2.2 cm. It fit my thumb perfectly, but was too loose for other fingers.
It is quite rusted.
