These are decorative gravel stones made from high-quality Awaji tiles produced on Awaji Island, crushed and processed.
Unlike regular silver tiles, these are rare black tiles made from Awaji Island soil rich in iron. They have a slightly angular finish, no artificial coloring, and a natural, matte black color with a subtle sheen that deepens when wet.
They have lower water retention and absorption rates than Fuji sand, offering excellent drainage!

Furthermore, tiles have excellent water purification properties,
absorbing impurities and promoting bacterial growth, making them suitable for use as substrate stones in aquariums.
Their black color makes plants and fish appear more vibrant and stand out.
