A blend of coconut coir chips and Hyuga soil, approximately 1.5 liters.
This is a homemade blend, inspired by Neko Chip, created by nekoteito, a member of the popular YouTube channel Hanamori Family, which shares the joys of gardening. The blend consists of coconut coir chips and Hyuga soil in a 2:1 ratio.
I make a large batch for my own use and am sharing the surplus.
We use Verabom (M) and Hyuga soil (medium grain). The coco chips are sifted to remove fine particles. The Hyuga soil is washed until no dirt comes out, sun-dried for a day, then blended. It has been watered once and is ready to use (will be delivered semi-dry).
...Also, to improve the appearance, I took the extra step of removing as many black particles from the Hyuga soil as possible!
Your plants will grow vigorously if you mix in some base fertilizer before use!
