The Souvenir JKT, commonly known as a Sukajan, originated as souvenirs brought back by American soldiers stationed abroad. This season, we're releasing it in a material suitable for autumn and winter: velveteen combined with satin. Similar to the popular 16ss collection, we've created original wik embroidery patterns based on vintage designs. The hand-stitched embroidery by artisans expresses a subtle skillfully clumsy aesthetic that defines the quality of a Sukajan, creating a warmth that machine embroidery lacks.

Color 09 features full color embroidery, while color 99 has embroidery in the same color as the body. The placket uses a YKK reverse zip, reminiscent of vintage styles, pursuing the authentic taste of a Sukajan.

Heavy Velveteen: An original material made from velveteen that can express the unique patina of age, further enhanced with added body and firmness. The main difference between velvet and velveteen is that velvet is made by cutting vertical pile, while velveteen is made by cutting horizontal pile, resulting in various expressions depending on the direction of the pile. We've left the fuzz slightly longer for a softer touch and a more subdued sheen.

The overall black color and understated embroidery allow it to blend into urban settings, making it easy to incorporate into your outfits.

Condition: Shows some signs of use and minor pilling, but no noticeable stains, and can still be worn. The eyelet tag on the velvet side has been cut off as it was bothersome.
