【Beautiful Condition】High-Quality Chinese Tea Set, Celadon Porcelain, Compact, Travel-Friendly
I purchased this set during a trip to Shanghai last year, but after using it only 2-3 times, I found myself not using it anymore, so I've decided to sell it.
This is a compact and portable tea set by artist Shen Yanrong of Longteng Yue Kiln, featuring celadon porcelain.
[Product Description]
The creative elements of the Secret Color Auspicious Cloud Travel Set are inspired by the landscape painting Pine Wind and Still Clouds by Wen Zhengming, one of the Four Masters of the Ming Dynasty. You can enjoy the scenery of pine caves, clear springs, brewing tea, and playing the zither.
It's a joy to be amidst mountains and rivers. It's a pure interest in nature and an influence on the soul. With auspicious clouds as the motif, two auspicious clouds extending from the teapot's knob, which is shaped like a cloud, to the sides of the teapot, serve not only as decoration but also have the practical function of preventing burns. The three small teacups are also each adorned with vibrant auspicious clouds. The entire piece has a unified aesthetic, with the secret color glaze being clear, gentle, elegant, and simple. The design, featuring one teapot and three teacups, is easy to carry and exudes a sense of luxury. It can be used as a tea set at home, in the office, or outdoors, allowing you to enjoy tea anytime, anywhere.
[Yue Kiln - Secret Color Porcelain]
Yue Kiln celadon is the oldest mature porcelain in human history and is known as the mother of porcelain.
Secret Color Porcelain, the pinnacle of Yue Kiln celadon, represents the highest achievement in porcelain manufacturing technology of the Tang and Song dynasties.
Secret Color Porcelain, which ministers and commoners were not allowed to use, is the highest grade of porcelain. The autumn wind and dew of the nine heavens bloom in Yue Kiln, capturing the green hues of a thousand peaks. This is a famous poem by a Tang Dynasty poet praising the secret celadon of Yue Kiln.
Secret Color Porcelain refers to the glaze color of Yue Kiln, and also to rare colors. The Green Glazed Octagonal Water Bottle from Famen Temple in Xi'an, which is as white as ice and jade with a hint of green within the green, is a classic example of secret color. The Yue Kiln celadon firing technique is a national intangible cultural heritage.
