【Jian Zhan Kiln Pottery】Chinese Tea Set, Taiwanese Tea Set, Aroma Cup 3-Piece Set (Blue and White Porcelain, Arabesque Pattern)
10.00 $
Description
This is a 3-piece set of Wenxiang cups (monkouhai), traditionally used in authentic Chinese and Taiwanese tea ceremonies.
These are small, tall cups specifically designed for enjoying the rich aroma of tea.
The bottom of the cup is marked with 建展窯陶藝 (Jian Zhan Yao Tao Yi).
The calm and elegant gray base is beautifully decorated with a tasteful, arabesque-like pattern in a deep blue color, making it a stylish decorative piece even when simply displayed.
While perfect for those who enjoy Chinese tea, their tall, sleek shape also makes them highly recommended for use as sake cups for chilled sake or as small vases for displaying greenery or herbs.
