Rare Item!! Jingdezhen Blue and White Porcelain Thin-Bodied Tea Set
31.02 $
Description
A beautiful Chinese tea set featuring a blue and white floral pattern.
This piece is from Jingdezhen, China, a globally renowned center for ceramics, not just in Japan.
Its most distinctive feature is that it is made of Bó Tāi Cí (thin-bodied porcelain), crafted with astonishing artisanal skill. Using Jingdezhen's highest level of traditional craftsmanship (the Lī Pí technique), the porcelain is shaved to an extreme thinness that allows light to pass through, giving it a delicate quality and elegance akin to an eggshell.
Set Includes: Teapot, Milk Pitcher, 5 Tea Cups, Plate
Design: Blue and white floral pattern (Qinghua), decorated with Chinese poetry
Size: Please refer to the photos for individual dimensions
Material: Porcelain (Thin-bodied porcelain)
