#Yamasan's Soil
This is pumice that has been washed, dried, and roasted at high temperatures.
It is sterile, highly breathable and well-draining, and also retains moisture. It is very hard and resistant to crumbling, so it is used mixed with other soil components.
Larger granules are used as drainage material at the bottom of pots.
Its high breathability and drainage, along with its hardness, make it suitable for soil mixes for succulents such as Haworthia, Agave, and cacti.
When growing succulents, the most common mistakes are overwatering or using soil with poor drainage and aeration, leading to root rot. To ensure healthy growth, we recommend mixing in soil like this.
It is also often used as a decorative top dressing on potted plants for aesthetic appeal.
