#Yamasan's Soil
Kiryu sand is a type of mountain sand produced in the Kiryu City area, characterized by its high iron content, which is essential for plant growth.
Its porous and angular structure promotes root branching, and its excellent drainage and aeration, along with its hardness and resistance to crumbling, make it primarily used as a component in bonsai soil.
Larger grains are used as drainage material at the bottom of pots.
Its high drainage and aeration, along with its hardness, make it suitable for use in soil mixes for succulents such as Haworthia, Agave, and cacti.
